Defense Minister Amir Peretz spoke with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert by telephone on Wednesday and updated him on the Kassam attacks on Sderot and Ashkelon that killed one woman and left two other people in critical and serious condition.
Olmert ordered Peretz to continue to take action against the Kassam launching infrastructure in the Gaza Strip and to provide him with updates on the situation.
Olmert said he viewed the attacks "gravely," and expressed sorrow over the casualties.
