Olmert says Israel will not attack Syria

Israel would not attack Syria, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said during Monday's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee meeting. "If someone in Syria is anxious, he can just calm down," said Olmert. "Israel will not attack Syria just as Israel did not attack Syria during the war in Lebanon," he continued.
