Olmert: The Israeli people know the gov't protects Israels security and future

"Today it is possible to say with confidence that the Israeli people know that the government knows how to protect them and take care of the country's security and future," said Prime Minister Ehud Olmert Saturday evening.
"We will continue to make every effort to improve the chances of making political agreements; that is not easy and that is not simple. We need to be realistic and not to give in to misconceptions," he said at Mimuna celebrations at Ofakim.
