The Jerusalem portfolio will remain in the Prime Minister's Office, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert reportedly decided this week.
Responsibility for Jerusalem was expected to be part of Minister-without-Portfolio Ya'akov Edri's portfolio.
Olmert may be intending to keep the portfolio in order to give it to a party that might join the coalition at a later date.
