Prime Minister Ehud Olmert left Washington for Israel early Thursday following a trip in which he met with US President George W. Bush and spoke before the US Congress.
The prime minister's plane took off in the early morning hours of Thursday (Israel time) from Andrews Air Force Base in Washington.
He was expected to attend Jerusalem Day Celebrations in Israel on Thursday evening.
