Organ donor volunteer dies, donates organs

A 39-year-old volunteer in the ADI organ donor promotion center has died suddenly of a brain hemorrhage, and his family has donated his organs for transplant, ADI announced on Monday. Nir Shermer, who started working for ADI as a high school project, continued as a volunteer and met another volunteer, Rina, who became his wife. They had four children, the oldest now 12 and the youngest two months old. But this week, he died suddenly. The ADI organization (www.agudatadi.org.il), mourned the loss and decided to donate a monetary grant to the family.
