Osem's meat, fish products left in sun, then sold

Tons of food products were refrozen and sent to stores and supermarkets across the country after having been left outside an Osem storage facility in the blazing sun for several hours. The packages of the products, meat, fish and other frozen goods, state they are to be deep frozen at -18 degrees Celsius prior to being sold to private consumers. Reportedly, thousands of products reached stores and ended up in consumers' home freezers. Eating meat and fish products which were thawed and refrozen might expose consumers to diseases such as salmonella and other bacteria. An Osem representative apologized to consumers on Channel 10 news.
