A Palestinian carrying a knife was arrested at the Bir Zeit checkpoint north of Ramallah on Tuesday afternoon.
The man was seen approaching Border Police in a suspicious manner, and after ignoring orders to stop, he began running toward police with the knife.
He was taken into custody for further interrogation.
