According to Palestinian sources, the IDF has increased its presence in Gaza periphery towns following suspicions that a terrorist may have entered Israel to carry out an attack on Saturday afternoon.
Infantry, Engineer Corps, and Armor Corps troops were conducting searches in settlements bordering the Strip, said the Palestinians.
The IDF spokesperson, however, told the Jerusalem Post that such a development did not occur, and that the level of military activity in Gaza had stayed the same.
