Pedestrian killed by passing truck near Rehovot; police suspect suicide

A 26-year-old pedestrian was killed early Sunday morning by a passing truck on Route 40 near Rehovot.
A preliminary police investigation showed that at approximately 4:00 a.m. the man jumped in front on the truck.
Police suspect that he was inebriated and decided to commit suicide.
