Peres: Next ten months are crucial for the peace process

"The next ten months are crucial [for the peace process] and both the Israelis and the Palestinians must work intensively and make maximum efforts to overcome their weaknesses," President Shimon Peres said Thursday Peres was the keynote speaker at a conference in Davos, Switzerland devoted to post-Annapolis, post-Paris developments. "If they are successful everyone wins. If they fail, everyone loses," said the president. "When the Palestinians are strong, Israel will be strong," Peres continued, adding that he fully believed that both sides shared the desire to reach a just and lasting peace accord that would be mutually beneficial.
