Defense Minister Peretz urged the IDF Chief of Staff, Dan Halutz, to exercise more caution with regards to air strikes.
Peretz said on Wednesday that it was preferable to cancel a strike, rather than risk the lives of innocent civilians.
When the minister learned of the latest botched air strike that took place in Gaza on Wednesday evening, he changed his schedule and arrived to IDF central headquarters in Tel Aviv to discuss the matter with the Chief of Staff.
