Labor Party Chairman Amir Peretz said late Sunday that his party would not sit in a coalition with Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beitenu Party, but that Acting Prime Minister and Kadima head Ehud Olmert was Lieberman's natural coalition ally.
The statements came in the wake of reports indicating that Olmert and Lieberman were considering joining together in forming the post-election coalition.
