PID head testifies at Zeiler Committee

Head of the Police Investigative Department (PID) Herzl Shviro, gave evidence to the Zeiler Committee on Tuesday, although much of his testimony was given behind closed doors. The committee was set up to probe the police handling of the an investigation into suspected crime bosses Oded and Sharon Perinian, who were indicted in October for the murder of underworld figure Pinhas Buhbut. David Castro, the head of intelligence at the PID, also testified on Monday.
