Pipe-bomb laboratory found in Taiba home

A pipe-bomb laboratory was discovered in Taiba, police announced Wednesday morning. Forces found gunpowder, fuses, pipes, flares, nails and ammunition at the scene. Police conducted the search after receiving information from Taiba's district intelligence coordinator indicating that a resident had built a bomb-making factory in his house. Police arrived at the residence with a search warrant. The owner of the home attempted to hide evidence and escape upon the arrival of police but was caught shortly after. Police are now investigating whether the explosives were developed for criminal use or for use in terror attacks.
