PM demands cooperation from coalition factions

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert convened the coalition faction heads on Thursday demanding their party's cooperation on Knesset votes in order to prevent the government's collapse. Labor faction chairman Ephraim Sneh said that no one in his party was interested in toppling the government, Israel Radio reported. The meeting came a day after three Labor MKs abstained from voting on the first reading of the 2006 national budget.
