Ehud Olmert, in his first speech since taking the role of prime minister, expressed complete confidence in the dedication of every MK to the well-being of the state.
He said that no one in the plenum was any more patriotic than anyone else, and that nobody has a monopoly over the love of Israel.
The statement came on the same day that Israel Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman accused some of the Arab MKs of collaborating with Hamas, and suggested that they should be tried and executed as the Nazi collaborators were.
