PMO reiterates: No progress on release of soldiers

"There has been no progress in securing the release of the soldiers captured in Lebanon," Israeli officials reiterated on Monday morning. The Prime Minister's Office said "the international community determined that the kidnapped [soldiers] must be released unconditionally." The statements were made in response to Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah's Sunday statements claiming that negotiations were underway to secure the releases of Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev, in return for the release of Lebanese citizens being held in Israeli jails.
