In the second ski-related death of an Israeli abroad in less than a week, a 12-year-old Israeli girl was killed on Thursday when a parked car rolled into her while she was waiting for a ski lift at a ski resort in Poland. Another girl was wounded in the incident. On Saturday, Roi Sternik, 12, was killed in a skiing accident in northern Italy. Sternik received a severe blow to the head when he hit a pole while he was skiing with his family on the Italian Alps. The Mediterranean Ski Club said that, contrary to instructions, Sternik was not wearing a protection helmet on the slope.
