Police said they stumbled on the assassin by chance when traffic officers noticed a man riding a motorcycle with folded license plates. The traffic police signaled to the man to stop, but he ignored their calls and tried to outrun them. After chasing the man into Ramat Gan, the police succeeded in arresting him.
