It was released for publication Wednesday that the Shin Bet security service and local police arrested Mahmoud Hattib, of the divided border village of Ghajar, three weeks ago on suspicion that he passed information to Hizbullah.
Hattib admitted passing information on IDF activity in the vicinity of Ghajar to a Hizbullah operative and a reporter from the Hizbullah-run Al-Manar television station before the outbreak of war on the northern border.
The Nazareth District Court issued an indictment against Hattib on Wednesday.
