Police prevent Palestinian lynching in West Bank

Border Police prevented a potential lynching of two Palestinians outside the West Bank farming community of Benaya overnight Thursday. The border policemen had caught the two Palestinians allegedly stealing two calves from the farming community and loading them into a car. Police stopped an angry mob from the community from harming the Palestinians, who had disguised themselves as Jews by wearing kippot. The two suspected thieves, from the Beit Ulah village near Hebron, are set for a remand extension hearing later Friday.
