Police have uncovered two drug-making laboratories in Kadima and Netanya following a three-week undercover investigation.
Two people were arrested on Sunday as they came out of a villa in Kadima which contained equipment for growing marijuana. This included heating and lighting systems, pipes, fertilizer, flowerpots, chemicals, saplings and seeds. Later on in the day, police raided a flat in Netanya, where they found similar equipment.
A spokesman said that due to the maturity of some of the saplings police believe the labs were operating for a number of months, adding that the Kadima operation could have made a yearly revenue of NIS 1m.
