Police officials announced on Tuesday that a Palestinian wanted for the murder of taxi driver Shmuel Oren Ben-Baruch near Jericho in 1997 was arrested in Jericho on july 9.
Police said that Rizek was arrested by the Gidonim special taskforce.
The suspect is in custody, and his file has been transferred to military prosecution for further analysis.
