Police have decided to investigate MK Ya'acov Cohen (United Torah Judaism) for his remark that provoked Justice Ministry attorney Amnon Dehartuch to slap him in the face during a heated argument in the Knesset on July 10, Channel Two reported on Sunday.
During a row over the budget allocation for religious communities, Cohen said: "You are worse than the Germans, you want to destroy the body and also the soul."
The remark was particularly insensitive to Dehartuch, who lost 20 relatives in the Holocaust.
