The postal workers plan to intensify their work sanctions on Tuesday, and will not accept VAT payments, income tax payments, or National Insurance Institute payment. Postal workers will also not process diplomatic mail.
Post office branches nationwide will close at 12 p.m.
According to Army Radio, the postal service employees are protesting the government's refusal to authorize reduced postal rates.
