Prosecution drops rape case against 2 of 3 Ein Gedi residents accused
By DAN IZENBERG
The prosecution has withdrawn indictments against two of the three members of Kibbutz Ein Gedi who had been accused of raping a visitor from Denmark.
The prosecution informed the court that it was dropping the cases against Ron Roditi and Ben Aver because of problems with the testimony of the woman who accused them of rape.
However, the trial of the third man, Dan Lahav, who is charged with raping a friend and traveling companion of the first woman, will continue.
Lahav has denied the charges against him.
