Hundreds of Ethiopian immigrants demonstrating in Jerusalem against the Interior Ministry's decision to stop the immigration of Falash Mura tried to break into the Prime Minister's Office on Tuesday afternoon.
Police called to the scene blocked their access.
According to the organizers of the demonstration, there are currently some 8,500 Jews waiting to immigrate to Israel, many of whom have relatives already living in the country.
The demonstrators claimed the government's decision stemmed from racism and carried signs reading: "Free our families" and "Enough discrimination."
