"Quiet" radio stations for Shabbat observers

NU-NRP MK Zvi Hendel asked OC Homefront Command Maj.-Gen.Yitzhak Gershon Thursday to make public, prior to the onset of Shabbat, the radio frequency for the silent warning system. Hendel explained that Shabbat-observing Jews did not have access to the warning frequency last week, because it was not made public in time. In accordance with the Chief Rabbinate, there will be several quiet radio stations that Orthodox Jews living in the North can leave on during the Shabbat. The FM stations are as follows: Haifa - 100.2, Safed - 98.5, Kiryat Shmona - 95.7, Beit Shean - 95.2, Karmiel - 92.7.
