Reut Rubin, the primary witness in the Ra'anan Levy murder case, continued her testimony at the Tel Aviv District Court on Sunday, surrounded by a tight police escort out of concern for her life, Army Radio reported. Last week, Rubin, the former girlfriend of suspect Avi Abutbul, said that Abutbul had confessed to her over the 18-year-old's murder. Levy was killed in December 2004 after talking to a girl at a Shefayim club, which led to a fight with her boyfriend. The boyfriend then called his friends, Avi and Francois Abutbul, who chased Levy and then allegedly stabbed him in the chest. The two had their remands extended several months ago.
