Head of the Israel Police Youth Crime Department said Friday that the investigation into the murder of 13-year-old Ta'ir Rada, who was found stabbed to death in a school bathroom in the North on Wednesday, did not point in the direction of a classmate.
Assistant Commander Suzy Ben-Baruch told Israel Radio that the police was examining all possible motives and that it was not yet possible to draw any definite conclusions.

The Education Ministry and Police reinforced security in northern schools in the wake of the murder but Education Ministry officials stressed that classes would continue as normal.
Meanwhile, police continued gathering testimonies from the students of the Nofei Golan High School in Katzrin, in their attempts to solve the case of the murdered school girl.
Late Thursday morning, Rafael Cohen, a 56-year-old local resident with a criminal record, was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder.
Shortly afterward, police requested - and received - a gag order on the investigation, preventing the release of any information on the case.
