Over 28 thousand passengers will have left the country via Ben-Gurion International Airport and a similar number of travelers will have arrived in Israel by the end of Thursday, which is expected to become the airport's busiest day ever. The previous record was broken two weeks ago, when 54,857 passengers passed through the airport within a single day. Thursdays in August are always exceptionally busy. 13.4 million travelers are expected to travel via the airport this month, 5% more than in August 2007. Since the beginning of 2008, 6.2 million passengers have passed through Ben-Gurion Airport.
