Regev's dad to Livnat: What if your son abducted?

The families of the three kidnapped IDF soldiers - Ehud Goldwasser, Eldad Regev and Cpl. Gilad Shalit - visited the Knesset on Tuesday, Israel Radio reported. Regev's father, Tzvi Regev, said during the visit that if he were to meet MK Limor Livnat (Likud), who presented a request to exchange Palestinian security prisoners for the soldiers only with the approval of 80 Knesset members, he would ask her how she would act if it were her son in captivity. Livnat said in response that she understood the pain of the captive soldiers' families, but that she had submitted the request with the aim of preventing more bereaved families in the future. According to Livnat, releasing child murderers would only increase motivation for terrorists to kill and kidnap more Israelis.
