Remains of dual-engine Kassam found near Ashkelon

The remains of a Kassam rocket were found near a cemetery in Ashkelon on Friday. The location indicated a record-range for the rocket, most likely a result of two engines that were built into it. Border Police sappers detonated the rocket in a controlled manner, Israel Radio reported. A Kassam rocket was fired this morning and six others were launched during the night in the direction of Sderot. No one was wounded in the attacks.
