Report: Barak postponing scheduled Washington visit

A government official says Defense Minister Ehud Barak is delaying a visit to Washington.
Barak had been scheduled to leave Sunday for talks with US Vice President Dick Cheney and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates. But a Defense Ministry official says the trip has been postponed until further notice.
The official spoke on condition of anonymity because no official statement has been issued. Barak's office had no immediate comment.
