Report: gunman killed was Zubeidi's 2nd in command

According to Palestinian reports, the gunman who was killed by the IDF in Jenin Sunday night was Muhamad Abu el-Haija, widely considered 2nd in command to Zakariya Zubeidi, the Aksa Martyrs Brigades commander in Jenin. Zubeidi has been involved in numerous attacks against Israelis, including deadly roadside shootings. A fluent Hebrew speaker, he is often interviewed by the Israeli media. He is best known for his friendship with Israeli left-wing activist Tali Fahima, who served a two-year prison term for sharing classified information with Zubeidi. AP contributed to this report
