Haj Hussein Khalil, political secretary of the Hizbullah was also killed in the Damascus blast Tuesday night, Iranian news agency Farsi says.
Khalil also serves as deputy Secretary-General of the organization.
The information was not as yet confirmed by other sources. Reports from the scene of the explosion consistently spoke of a single casualty.
