Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas announced on Tuesday morning that he would meet with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in Jericho on Thursday, Israel Radio reported.
According to the report, the government has rejected an offer by Abbas to expand a proposed cease-fire to the West Bank only after it had been in effect in Gaza for a month.
