Report: PM considers making Peres foreign minister

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is considering appointing Shimon Peres as foreign minister, according to a Channel 2 report Friday evening.
The appointment would be made possible if current Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom quits the government with the other Likud ministers.
Newly elected Likud Chairman Binyamin Netanyahu has said he intends to remove the Likud from the current government.
