Palestinian sources reported that some 200 olive trees belonging to Palestinian farmers were chopped down on Sunday in the village of Salim near Nablus.
The farmers claimed that local Jewish settlers cut down the trees.
On Saturday, The Jerusalem Post reported that Israeli volunteers were working with Palestinians in Salim to repair damage to their trees caused a month ago, also allegedly by settlers.
