Report: Sharon gives name to possible new party

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has considered moving up the general elections to April or May, and heading a new party, Channel 1 reported Tuesday night. The most likely name for that party was chosen as Ein li Eretz Acheret (I have no other country). Lehavim Regional Council Chairman Eli Levy announced that he and 30 other regional council head would join Sharon in the new political constellation. In addition, most Likud ministers, including Finance Minister Ehud Olmert, Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, Internal Security Minister Gideon Ezra, Transportation Minister Meir Sheetrit, Tourism Minister Abraham Hirchson, and Minister without Portfolio Tzachi Hanegbi were believed likely to join such a party.
