Report: Winograd C'tee won't send warning letters

The Winograd Committee of investigation into the Second Lebanon War will not send out cautionary letters prior to the publication of its final report, Channel 2 reported Tuesday. According to the report, the committee intends to release the report as soon as possible; preferably before the high holy days, or at the very least immediately after. The committee was given legal advice that allowed for it to append personal recommendations to its final report- even without sending out cautionary letters - because of its status as a governmental committee of inquiry.
