Report: Winograd report won't discuss individuals

The Winograd Committee's interim report on the handling of last summer's war in Lebanon will not contain any conclusions about individuals, but only conclusions regarding the establishment as a whole, Channel 2 reported on Thursday evening. According to the report, the findings the committee presents at the end of the month will not deal with the management during the war itself, but rather during the period between Israel's original withdrawal from Lebanon and the outbreak of the war last year. The final report, to be presented at the end of July, is expected to include both criticism of the defense and political establishments and personal criticism of Prime Minsiter Ehud Olmert, Defense Minister Amir Peretz and Maj.-Gen. Udi Adam, who was head of the Northern Command during the war.
