Rico Shirazi's son detained for alleged involvement in TA murder

Shay Shirazi, son of Israeli mobster Aryeh 'Rico' Shirazi, was apprehended by the police for alleged involvement in a double murder outside the 'Night' club in Tel Aviv last week, Army Radio reported Tuesday. Two other suspects in the case are Yehuda Boso and Savi Meshayev, both residents of the Sharon area in their early twenties. A hitman allegedly hired by Shay Shirazi and his two associates killed Sagi Or and Rafael Rogel outside the club. Shay's father Rico told Army Radio that police were picking on his son just because of his last name. "This is not the first time he's been arrested, and not the second or third also. [It's] all because of his father's name. I know my son," he said.
