Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's speech on Tuesday at the Herzliya Convention outlining his party's platform received harsh criticism from the Right.
National Union faction chairman Zvi Hendel said that "Olmert founded a Hamas state at Herzliya. He is hiding a plan to expel the Jews of Judea and Samaria, divide Jerusalem, return to the 1967 borders, as well as the abandonment of the security of Israel."
National Religious Party faction chairman Shaul Yahalom said that "Olmert had copied Sharon's speech from two years ago, which brought upon Israel mortars and Kassam rockets and the abandonment of the security of the people of Israel."
"Olmert was trying to hide his plans to withdraw unilaterally from Judea and Samaria, the Jordan valley and Jerusalem as he has said many times in the past," a Likud spokesperson said. "Olmert should stop misleading the public and reveal his true intentions."
