Sheikh Raed Salah, leader of Israel's Islamic Movement (Northern Branch), told supporters at Friday's 'Al-Aksa in Danger Conference' that both Israel and its "occupation" would be erased. Salah told his 10,000-strong audience in Umm el-Fahm that Jerusalem and the Al-Aksa mosque would remain forever. "Jerusalem and the Al-Aksa mosque were occupied by different peoples… I tell you that both Israel and its occupation will disappear." The Sheikh addressed the latest reports surrounding Israel's alleged over flight into Syrian airspace on Wednesday by accusing Israel of using terrorism against its northern neighbor. "Two days ago Israeli terror was used against Syria… If they are able to annihilate us, the Islamic nation will suffer from American terror and Israeli aggression country after country, nation after nation."
