Sderot mayor slams gov't for being 'uninterested' in Sderot's plight

Sderot Mayor Eli Moyal sharply criticized the government in its handling of the continuing firing of Kassam rockets on his town, Monday. "No government official was asking about the events happening in Sderot this morning, they're just not interested," Moyal was quoted on Army Radio as saying. Tzahi Hanegbi (Kadima), Chairman of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, said "there would be escaping the need to send the IDF deep into the Gaza Strip."
