A group of retired IDF senior generals and senior IDF officers called on IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.- Gen. Dan Halutz to resign following the war in Lebanon, Channel 10 News revealed on Wednesday.
The large group, which included Brig.-Gen. Doron Almog, Gen. (res.) Uri Sagi and Maj.-Gen. (res.) Yoram Yair, submitted its demand to the chief of staff in writing, saying that he was responsible for the inadequate results of the war.
