Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was evaluated by world renowned coma expert Jerome Posner, Hadassah Hospital spokeswoman Yael Bossem-Levy said Sunday.
Posner was invited to Israel by Hadassah for his expert opinion on the treatment of the prime minister.
Posner examined Sharon and spoke to his family, Bossem-Levi said in a statement. No details of the results of the examination were given.
Sharon's condition remains unchanged and continues to be defined as "critical and stable."
