Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Shimon Peres preferred not to name any specific future appointment for Peres at a joint press conference they held on Sunday.
Sharon said that Peres could choose from any position in his government, and that Peres was "qualified to hold any position."
When asked what he would do if Kadima lost in the elections, Sharon responded that he believed that he would win, and that his party would be able to work on political, economic, and social issues.
